The MapSpeller software download contains all the standard dictionaries and Locationaries that are required by the software. This page provides specialized dictionaries and Locationaries in which some users may be interested.
 
Chemistry (Organic) Open Source Chemistry Dictionary created by Adam M. Azman. It contains 104,662 words and focuses primarily on organic chemistry. This is the third version of the dictionary. It was published in 2011. Source: http://www.sciencebase.com/science-blog/chemistry-dictionary.html.
USA County Names Contains the names of all the counties in the United States. This data is derived from the 2002 Counties feature class provided with the ArcGIS software. It is royalty free to users of ArcGIS® and MapSpeller.
US FDA CFSAN Technical Lexicon This lexicon/dictionary was developed by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration Center for Food Safety and Applied Nutrition.

After unzipping those files, users can either:
  1. Link to a Locationary
  2. Link to a dictionary
  3. Import the specialized dictionary words to their personal dictionaries.
